The objective of this course is to provide a thorough understanding of the environmental impacts related to energy conversion systems, as well as available mitigation measures.
Upon completing the course the student
should have a throughout understanding of global energy situation and the
interactions between the human activities in the energy field and the
environment. Furthermore the student should have a comprehensive knowledge of
available management systems and tools as well as technical mitigation methods
relevant to the energy field and applicable within the existing legal framework.
